Math word problems

Each story problem has three parts: a box to draw it, an equation to fill in, and an answer sentence. That way students show their thinking in a picture, in numbers and in words.

Problems follow the usual structures: put together, get more, take away, compare ("how many more?"), find the missing part, equal groups and sharing. Every problem uses a different name and item.
