Greater than, less than worksheets
Students compare two numbers and write <, > or = in the circle. Other pages ask them to circle the greater or the smaller number, to compare sums and differences such as 3 + 4 and 9 – 1, or to write a set of numbers in order.
Choose how high the numbers go (10, 20, 100 or 1000) and whether some pairs are equal. About half the pairs are close together, so students have to look at every digit.
What you can choose
- Write <, > or = in each circle
- Circle the greater or the smaller number
- Compare sums and differences
- Put 4 or 5 numbers in order, least to greatest or greatest to least
- Numbers up to 10, 20, 100 or 1000, with or without equal pairs
Questions
